Wait, what? On “The View” today, Sherri Shepherd expressed concern for the various girls who tweeted on Grammy night that they’d accept abuse from Chris Brown. So far, so good! Which is why it’s too bad Shepherd then defended Brown (again), even suggesting he could serve as a role model for victims of domestic abuse.

Match Day5 a year agoIt took a long time for her to get there but she eventually made a good point. Abuse is cyclical. The abused often become the abusers. The cycle can be broken with empathy, compassion and vigilance, not anger, sanctimony and ostracism.
