I love hilarious, snarky bullshit like this! Cindy Adams is a fixture in NY for her nonsensical career as a gossip repeater and all around rambler. In addition to being an apologist for her friend Leona Helmsley, about mobster John Gotti, Adams said “The Gotti I knew was a gentleman.” I don't care how old she is, she was always like this. Adams never cared who she hurt or insulted, never cared if what she was saying or writing was factual or not. Now, as usual, she continues to blather on. Great post, highly entertaining.

It wasn't a random name drop. The whole thing was random facts/gossip about celebrities, so it fit right in. It wasn't that bad. She's old.
