The Original Google Phone
Before the iPhone, before Android, there was this.
Emerging from documents that’ve come up during the Google vs. Oracle patent trial, this is the original phone design Google presented to carriers way back in 2006, before the world had ever heard of the iPhone, much less Android. These were the prototypes based on this design, and this pretty much sums up my feelings about it?
And this is the Galaxy Nexus — what the “Google Phone” looks like today.

gcs3 a year agoWhat the hell is wrong with innovating and improving on the designs currently on the market? If so-called “copycats” can take all your market share by doing “exactly” what you did, then you’re doing it wrong. If they’re taking your market share because they improved on your product and made it better, then that’s competition. The android and iphone are not equivalents. Many people want an android and NOT an iphone and vice versa.
