Netflix’s Doom And Gloom

If Netflix is doomed, as the New Yorker’s Nicholas Thompson asks, it’ll ultimately be because of the doom it already foresees: “cable networks through their TV Everywhere offerings.” When “cable” is just another app, and your subscription buys you access to any show, anytime, anywhere. That’ll be real doom-y looking. But I’d sure miss Netflix right now.
