Facebook was not very good at removing photos from its content delivery network after you asked it to delete them. As recently as February, it told Ars, “The systems we used for photo storage a few years ago did not always delete images from content delivery networks in a reasonable period of time.” Now it removes them within 30 days. Which isn’t great. Instagram deletions are nearly instant. But it’s better than before.
