Mary A. 11 months agothe protests are about tuition hikes, not protester rights. i went up for class advising in april and the protesters refused to let students through the tunnels at concordia to write their exams. riot police had to show up. their putting these laws in place so that the protesters cant bother the students who want to finish school.

Sarah C. 11 months agoIt started with student school fees but the law affects any organasation doing a protest of more than 50 people. The protests are also against the excessive police brutality that fallowed the original student protests.
