Drivers Stranded Overnight On Kentucky Highways

A winter storm has dumped close to 20 inches of snow in some areas of Kentucky, blocking major roads. Some drivers said they've been in their cars for more than 12 hours on I-65.

Some counties in Kentucky were hit with double-digit snowfall Thursday morning – and a number of drivers were stranded on highways overnight.

Louisville emergency plans – including the National Guard and Red Cross – are in place with warming shelters open all day.
