i wonder if this was editing — bc by all reports there was a barrage of boos when she gave her response. we are talking the an audience full of people who would actually wanted to sit through the Miss USA pageant, after all.

i thought so too — esp since it cuts right before he starts vomiting. also, she still insists that it was real even after he starts being sick, which is pretty fucking cruel. but he keeps throwing up quite a bit in one take, which means that he can really only be faking so much.

I think it's really disappointing that buzzfeed would censure a clip like this. I understand that the person featured in the video is just a boy, but buzzfeed serves to simply track videos/blogs/images/memes that are making … a buzz. it's not buzzfeed's responsibility to protect a child from looking foolish — it's their parent's. and if the clip happened to be uploaded w/o the parent's consent, then it is to the parent's benefit to learn to better patrol their children from the realities of the internet. I really think that Buzzfeed should uncensure this clip — lest I look elsewhere for unfiltered, interesting, and unabashedly viral content.
