When Kevin Rudd first took the top job in 2007 he looked like an alien. By the end of his second (short) term in 2013 he was also served with a second chin.
Julia Gillard held the top job for a short time (2010 - 2013). The vitriolic attacks may have taken their toll but she managed to acquire some nice hipster specs in the process.
The journeyman of recent times, John Howard's 11 years in the top job (1996-2007) saw him lose a little hair but hold on to those FANTASTIC eyebrows.
