Man of Reason a year agoOr you’ll end up with a PhD and working as a gym teacher at a high school. The days of getting a PhD in American Lit, getting tenure, wearing a tweed jacket, and getting paid to read Hemingway are over. Too many new grads, and too many old profs with tenure who (reasonably) won’t quit.
