She posted photos online, you don't share them with the world if you don't want attention and you especially don't turn your grief into an art installation. I agree that everyone grieves differently and it is really about perspective, but it seems tacky to me.
Isn't it a tad too much? I lost a husband a year ago and sure I bring some shells, pretty rocks and other stuff to his grave when I travel, but a cardboard cutout photo shoot is just attention seeking in my opinion.
It's better not to say anything and just BE there. I've heard some weird and bad stuff when my young husband died suddenly, for instance, "Will you keep his last name?" What. The. F...?
