As you may be aware, Tom Felton has joined J.K. Rowling's website Pottermore, and despite playing blond-haired Slytherin brat Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies, was sorted into GRYFFINDOR.
And J.K. Rowling knew it all along.

So let's have a look at all of Tom's Gryffindor traits. Here's what the Sorting Hat has to say: "You might belong in Gryffindor / Where dwell the brave at heart / Their daring, nerve and chivalry / set Gryffindors apart."
Tom is most definitely brave and daring.
He's active and driven; he doesn't want to sit back and spend hours planning and scheming. He's a go-getter.
He is courageous, and dares to dream big.
Just take a peek at his Instagram to see his chivalrous side. He clearly loves the crap out of his girlfriend, Jade Olivia, and he's a true gent.

As a Gryffindor, Tom can get a little competitive.
According to cynical Snape, Gryffindors can be a bit showy, but they're just very ambitious and used to winning.
Snape also accused Gryffindors of being a little self-righteous and arrogant.
BUT in their defence, they tend to show off about things that deserve to be shown off.
Pretty proud to say I'm probably the only kid that ever hugged Voldemort. Even if it was awkward #voldemorthuggedme
Of course, Tom may get a little short-tempered if things aren't going his way.
And he doesn't always stick to the rules.
He's got a typical Gryffindor personality, full of fire and burning passion.
I mean, WHOA.
When it comes to justice, he cares enough about it to get his hands dirty.
And he cares deeply about people (and dogs).

His love of dogs makes him very un-Slytherin.
Tom enjoys being surrounded by people, and, more importantly, his friends.
His friends will always have his back, just as he has theirs.
Tom believes in the power of magic, and more importantly he believes everyone deserves it, not just pure-bloods.
