9 Reasons Why I Want To Be Grace Helbig

Grace Helbig of DailyGrace is a comedic goddess who is climbing up the YouTube popularity ladder. With 2.2 million subscribers and being named the Streamy’s Personality of the Year, there are too many reasons why I’d love to be her. I’ve managed to narrowed it down to nine.

1. She's hilarious. Duh.

Yes, the most obvious thing to point out, but Grace’s deadpan humor is something that keeps me coming back every day. Seriously. I’m physically depressed when I miss one of her videos.

2. Her friends are epic

With friends like Hannah Hart (My Drunk Kitchen) and Mamrie Hart (You Deserve A Drink) you can gather that they have a fun time together. While I love all three of their channels respectively, any time they collaborate is a goldmine of hilarious.

3. The work/play combo

She basically makes her living by filming she and her friends while they drink. Not trying to sell her short though—she does do a lot of side projects, but the classic Grace video seems like the coolest gig ever

4. The Lowes Commercial

She was in a freaking Lowes commercial. Every time I see it I scream “It’s DailyGrace!” at my TV and it’s one of the only repetitive commercials that I don’t hate. Nice work, Lowes. Keep ‘em coming.

5. Cool colabs and interviews

She collabs with famous YouTubers like Miranda Sings and Alfie. But, her crowning glory this year was her interview with Lil Bub. There are no words.

6. She wears whatever she feels like

Another perk of filming from your house? You can look however you want. Grace is adorable in her own right, even when she wears the same baseball tee in most of her videos. It’s classic—nay—encouraged.

7. She rates things by way of her face

Instead of stars, she uses her own face to grade things from 1 to 5 Grace Face’s. And masses of people understand and appreciate what that means.

8. She hazes the crap out of people

One of my main goals in life is to be hazed by Grace. A girl can only dream for her own mean(ish) shout out via video blog.

9. All-around winner

Grace Helbig is the total package—hardworking, determined, and downright hilarious.
