Lady Gaga Is Sitting In A 24-Karat Gold Wheelchair
Even though she’s injured, she’s riding in style.
From the New York Post:
“The injured pop star commissioned Ken Borochov of the luxury brand Mordekai to create a one-of-a-kind wheelchair to recover post-hip surgery.
Borochov, who’s designed pieces for Nicki Minaj, Kanye West and Cher Lloyd, said about Gaga’s wheels, “I certainly wasn’t expecting that phone call and have never done a wheelchair but am always up for a challenge and was thrilled to create what I affectionately dubbed the Chariot, a chair fit only for a queen.”

emilyzaslowh 2 months agoi dont think the issue is whether or not she donates or owns a home, or whether she is a wonderful humanitarian, or if I, or anyone who comments is or isn’t donating all they own to help others. A gold wheelchair is extremely ostentatious. Yes, most people with vast wealth own large houses and expensive cars, and jewels, which are accepted luxury items - but this seems quite crass, and offensive, hence the comments. Yes, you can defend Lady Gaga, and hurl nastiness to those who are offended, but to many of us, including those who need wheelchairs, (and do not deck them in precious metals and animal hides) this is just a gross, tasteless display of wealth.

philb16 2 months agoWhat a disgrace. Things like this are just obscene and is the reason why I (and everyone else who is not a complete moron) have no respect for most celebrities. If she has enough money to waste on something like this, why not donate some of it to help people who are disabled or something like that.

courtneym15 2 months agoYou stupid jerk, Maybe you don’t know that she does donate a lot. she donated 1 million dollars for hurricane sandy relief, she donates to LGBT organizations regularly, she has an Antibullying foundation called the Born This Way foundation. just shut your mouth if you don’t know the facts.

Do you really think Mother Monster would agree with you calling him a stupid jerk and telling him to keep his mouth shut? You make other Little Monsters look bad. People are entitled to their opinions, you don’t have to agree but you don’t have to freak out either. The fact of the matter is, Courtney is right, Gaga does support different charities and yes, has her own foundation. Yes, there are better ways to invest money to help others than gold wheelchairs, but at the end of the day, Gaga works her ass off and has earned her hard earned money. Have a nice day, and quit being rancid.

Oh friend! You don’t need the computer you’re typing on, a smart phone or most of the technological gadgets we all have and enjoy. JUST OBSCENE and this is the reason why I (and everyone else who is not a complete mornon) have no respect for most first worlders! If you have enough to waste on devices, (cable, internet data service etc), why not donate some of it to help people who are poor or something like that.
