Anderson Cooper Calls The Human Barbie Dreadful, Cuts Interview Short
Today on “Anderson,” Cooper halted an interview because he was too disgusted by his guest — Sarah Burge, a woman who calls herself the Human Barbie and promotes plastic surgery and botox to her young daughter — to continue. You go Anderson!
Cooper’s website described the incident like this:
Sarah Burge, who reportedly spent over $500,000 on plastic surgery and calls herself the “Human Barbie,” gave her now 8-year-old daughter “plastic surgery vouchers” on her 7th birthday, and encouraged her teenaged daughter to get Botox.
After asking Burge about why she’d encourage her daughter to get plastic surgery and why photos of her daughter on a stripper pole were released to the press, Anderson felt she was only seeking publicity, and said, “I honestly have nothing more to talk to you about.”

jennm3 a year agoI love Anderson because I’m always finding myself agreeing with him. She was more than likely put on the show by the producers, not necessarily him (I could be wrong), and he had no idea he was going to say something that ridiculous. I think it was noble to have her get offstage before he could say something awful to her. And this woman deserves a little embarrassment.

spencerl3 a year agoFunny how ive never heard if this guy until now…I think he didnt like this woman as they both use media for their source of income and he could see it because he is the same. He knew full well of his intentions…i do not condone what that woman is doing to her child. But public humilliation is uncalled for and disrespectful. He should never have invited her. I personally believe that the woman in question suffers from some form of mental illness and he abused that to fill his fat wad, out of greed and selfishness. Theres no business like show business…

Why have her on in the first place then? He’s not new to this game. He knew exactly what this woman was going to be like and that she’s looking for publicity. Why else would she agree to be on his show in the first place? I think this is more of a publicity stunt on his part than anything else. I’m a little disappointed in him.
