Dariana a year agoWhen I first moved to NYC—the very first time I embarked on mass transit alone—I sat next to a seemingly well-to-do businessman around 5pm on a Friday…it was then I noticed he was drinking a beer through a straw in a brown paper bag. A few minutes into the trip he passed out and fell face first into my lap, beer draining out of his straw onto the floor. I had no idea what to do. A woman across from me (who must have seen the panic in my eyes) gestured for me to move over, which I promptly did, causing him to hit his head on the seat, sit up, and then pass out in the other direction. It’s been around seven years since then, and goddamn I love NYC. <3
