Well done. Well done.
1. Jesus was definitely a pacifist, but he definitely was not a socialist. He repeatedly said people should go out and help the poor on their own; he didn’t say anything about waiting for Caesar/government to help those in need. That is the opposite of socialism. 2. Taking someone’s money at threat of gunpoint, buying something with that money, and handing it back to them is not “giving away.” It is the opposite of giving away. Sorry, Bill Maher and whoever photoshopped this bumper sticker. You’re great at snark, but not so great at logic.
Alaska is a state that woke up from their oblivious slumber from the moment they first heard Sarah Palin speak; it’s not surprising to see this sticker there, but it’s a great sight! I’d still be more impressed if this were taken a state like, Alabama; now that would be a sight to see!!!
when did jesus give away health care?
“And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.” Matthew 8:14-17
” And when Jesus was come into Peter’s house, he saw his wife’s mother laid, and sick of a fever. And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them. When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.”
“And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.”
and those are just a few…and hey notice he didn’t ask for payment. can an atheist get an excelsior for bible quotes up in here?
