Lizbeth R. 10 months agoI can’t quite figure out what bothers me so much about this. In a way I kinda get what they’re trying to do, but the way they’re putting out their message is all wrong. This seems more of a self-gratification type photo, rather than bringing awareness. And as a military wife who has been on the receiving end of PTSD, I can certainly tell you there are better ways to get help and information. This is something I would never do. :/

Davine S. 10 months agoI really, really agree with you. As erikac points out, it’s like as if every political statement made by a woman involves stripping down - as if we’re not objectified enough already? I see what they’re trying to do, but it’s like they had one idea and went with it, rather than considering all the other infinite possibilities for empowerment & tenderness. [I am also ridiculously irritated that so many of them have spelling errors, but that’s purely the pedant in me!] I hope you and your partner get through this. It must be extremely difficult… you have my best wishes.
