Everyone’s talking about Facebook’s upcoming redesign, in which the friend-tracking(stalking) News Feed will go at an almost “real-time” stream. This not only lets you seriously keep track of exes, but also allows advertisers to more frequently pop up on your front page.
The new layout works well on mobile devices, but the site lost its appeal once my Dad started posting embarrassing 3rd grade pictures of me for my co-workers to comment on so I really don’t care what Facebook does anymore the Boomers can have it.
Facebook already has the live-updating “Live Feed”, which I actually use instead of the regular “news feed”, because the regular news feed only shows 3 status updates and seems to actually show items non-chronologically. I actually bookmarked the Live Feed tab so I can go directly to it and never look at the regular feed. So the fact that they’re just going to the Live Feed is pretty great in my book.
