A 23-year-old Malaysian man in Borneo was killed by his audience — who were pissed that he was “hogging the microphone” at a karaoke night. The New York Times reports that these types of “karaoke rage” aren’t unique in Asia. Singers have been assaulted, stabbed and even shot during performances, depending on how well they are singing. The songs that cause the most conflict that they they are often TAKEN OFF THE ROSTER? Frank Sinatra’s “My Way” and John Denver’s “Country Roads.”
