Movie Buzz After writing a fan latter to the late John Hughes, Alison Byrne Fields asked to be his pen pal and they wrote letters back and forth for over 2 years. They spoke about life, teenagehood and she even critiqued his films, to which he wrote, “I listen. Not to Hollywood. I listen to you. I make these movies for you. Really. No lie. There's a difference I think you understand.”
