I’m actually afraid of using my last name more often than I already do, since it so uniquely identifies me online. For a while, about 90 percent of all google hits for my last name were about me. Fortunately, the internet has grown a bit more popular with Italians recently.

I feel sorry for anyone else who has my name, cause I’ve obviously taken over the internet with it.

Though the results have thinned out over the last 2-3 years, a few years ago I Googled myself (dirty, I know) to discover that none other than THE Pamela Anderson had taken me as her primary love interest—page after page of Pam’s romantic escapades with one Mr. Peter Rodick. Incidentally, it turns out she had just released a novel in which she had a passionate fling with her fictional producer, Peter Rodick. Perhaps it had something to do with the phallus-laden nature of my name.

Nice. I’ve been in a battle with Stefan E Hayden for a long time now. He’s the CEO of Caledonia mining company is South Africa and one day I hope they accidently send me his pay checks. I’ve been trying to keep him off the front page of a “Stefan Hayden” search but it’s sometimes a challenge.

This is a problem I will never have to deal with.
