Google Creates Its Own Digg

Google has found its newest empire to crush: Digg. By slyly releasing a new feature that users can add to their iGoogle, called “What's Popular?” Google is using a Digg-like algorithm to determine “hot” videos, pictures and content across the web. Users can either “pop” things to rank them higher or “de-pop” them to lower them. The only thing they're missing are the Digg commenters, who truly bring brilliance to every link.
