District 9
The trailer for the long-awaited Peter Jackson-produced alien flick has arrived — complete with matching online viral marketing! The Internet's abuzz with rumors about the realistic effects and creepy multiple websites that all connect to the film's story, which involves aliens living in “slum-like conditions on Earth suddenly find a kindred spirit in a government agent that is exposed to their biotechnology.” Does this not ring any bells with anyone else? Did we all forget last summer's epic Blair Witch-ian battle against aliens codenamed Cloverfield? I'm still having NYC nightmares.

this looks awesome, but it is nothing like cloverfield. That's like saying Tommy Boy is like Super Size Me just because they have fat people in them.

um, hand-held camera shots do not equal “documentary style”. It's obviously not set in NYC. Viral marketing is done by almost every film released these days. It's about intelligent aliens fitting into human society. Oh yeah, you are so right, Cloverfield was just like that!!! Great point!
