No one likes to share their food, especially when they barely have enough for themselves. So what happens when this child in Syria, an orphan living under the besieged Syrian town of Eastern Ghouta with no stable access to bread or food, finally gets a small sandwich all to himself? He does what none of us would do....he shares it with his friends, leaving just one bite for himself.

Dozens of towns in Syria are besieged by the Assad's army. They do not allow food, water, humanitarian aid/aid workers to go in, and no one can get out. Even when aid is allowed in, it is limited to a few grams of sugar, flour, oil, and wheat per family, as aid workers are targeted and attacked by Assad's army in the process. Even under these terrible conditions, the pure heart and innocence of children never seizes to amaze us.
