VT Senator (and huge Batman fan) Patrick Leahy is helping his childhood library in Montpelier ( the Kellogg-Hubbard) and the ECHO Science Center raise money with an early screening of The Dark Knight Rises.

Ha! Loved the comment. I'm actually surprised at how few new parents think to use their local library though... I'll admit standing in line behind someone with a big stack of books that they're purchasing at a store (new! wtf?) and saying to them "jeez, I'd be poor without my library…Â
Products marketed for freaked-out first-time parents, that's for sure! You don't need 75% of these things. (Wipe warmer? just stick one down your shirt as you start the changing process - it's warm by the time you need it.)
