Cosmetics companies are debuting a slew of new mascaras featuring wands that vibrate or oscillate. Apparently the vibrations are meant to simulate the motions that professional make up artists make while applying mascara. Until now we have had to move our own hands or put our mascara on while riding the subway to achieve this effect.
