Gypsy Models
Style Buzz Designer Vivienne Westwood raised quite a few eyebrows by employing Roma Gypsy models during her Milan runway shows. The models were styled to look “rough, stylish and hardened” and sported gold teeth and medallions. The theme of the show was “tolerance” but Westwood has been accused of romanticizing the Roma lifestyle as well as disrespecting the traditions of Romanipen by having the men model in their underwear.
