Here's What L.A. Would Look Like After A Blizzard

    Snow in Hollywood?

While our friends on the East Coast deal with blizzardmageddonapocalypse 2015, we had to wonder what it'd be like to get hit by a snowstorm here in Los Angeles...

    1. Children and aging hippies ice skate on the Venice Canals.

    2. Unprepared for freezing temperatures, Angelenos try hiking Griffith in Uggs.

    3. Puzzled by a substance close in color to sand, residents are undeterred and still head to the beach for outdoor fun.

    4. Downtown, folks are nearly blinded by the snow's reflection in the Walt Disney Concert Hall.

    5. Visitors to the Griffith Observatory clasp cups of hot cocoa after their icy, harrowing drive up the mountain. There is still no parking in the lot.

    6. Highways are nearly deserted at rush hour after Eric Garcetti declares a ban on transportation. Which many people still ignore.

    7. Residents of Beverly Hills experience no complications from the inclement weather. They are rich.

    8. Tourists still wear Bermuda shorts and flip-flops on the Walk of Fame because they came to L.A. for sun, damnit.

    9. The streets of Silver Lake are deserted, hipsters huddled up inside clutching artisanal hot toddies.

    10. And for once, there is no line at Intelligentsia.
