I don't understand why these people feel content where they are. People should not have to work a bazillion hours a week and only get paid for 40, they shouldn't have to do without healthcare, and pinching pennies to cover your needs while ignoring what you want isn't a fulfilling way to live (believe me, I have been there for years). Instead of focusing on how they are proud that they can barely cover their bills, they should look at how their situations can improve.

I'm pretty sure that not making pennies won't get people time off, it will get them layoff slips.
