Summer Reading For Kids: Side Stepping The Summer Slide
The National Summer Learning Association has conservatively estimated to be equivalent to about 2 months of what they learned during the previous school year (Yikes!). Fortunately, one of the best defenses in defeating the slide is keeping our children reading throughout the summer.
