1. No sunburn
Since most of us spend winter hibernating indoors binging on Netflix and pizza, there’s a good chance you haven’t even seen the sun since Christmas. And, if you have ventured outdoors, you’re probably all bundled up anyway.
2. No bugs
I can’t even remember the last time I saw any sort of creepy crawler, be it a mosquito, a stink bug, or a cockroach. Why? Because they’re all gone or dead! And who do we have to thank for that? Winter!
3. No sweating
It’s pretty hard to break a sweat when it’s -15°. No pit stains. No swamp ass. No BO. No problem!
4. No seasonal allergies
If you have seasonal allergies, you know how painful it is to be outside. Flowers, trees, and summer breezes are nice…unless they turn you into a wheezing, snotty-nosed, watery-eyed mess. Winter is the one season where you can get some relief.
5. Winter fashion
Pea coats, fleece jackets, sweaters, scarves, hats…they’re all so stylish and comfortable! Everyone looks great in winter clothes!
When it comes to driving in it or shoveling it, snow sucks. But there’s no denying how beautiful it looks. It’s just so frickin’ pretty!
7. 7. Cuddling
Nobody wants to be shivering alone in the cold. So, what’s the best way to keep warm? By cuddling, of course! Grab your significant other, your friend, your pet, your laptop…or anything else near and dear to you that generates heat and get cozy!
Let’s be honest — winter has some fantastic holidays. Whether you spend them with loved ones, taking advantage of sales, or enjoying the day off, you’re in for a good time.
9. Winter sports and activities
From ice skating and skiing to sledding and snow ball fights, there are so many fun things to do in winter. Plus, every four years, we can look forward to the Winter Olympics and all their international glory.
10. No shaving
For women, foregoing shaving in winter means extra insulation. For men, it means sexy facial hair. What’s there not to love?
