Once upon a time there were six young actors: Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Jennifer Aniston, and Matt LeBlanc.
In the early '90s, they all co-starred in a TV show together about six friends who live in New York City and go through the trials and tribulations of adulthood.
After only one season on air, the show was clearly a hit — by the time the season finale aired, it had about 30 million viewers per episode.
So, like anyone else who was famous in the '90s, the cast appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
Oprah interviewed the six actors in March 1995.

And based on the three video clips Oprah uploaded onto YouTube, the interview was completely magical.
Kudrow confirmed that even back in 1995, the cast WERE friends in real life, too!
Be still our hearts.
"These are five people that really, honestly matter to me now."
She talked about defending Cox from trouble-starting reporters.
And when Oprah asked if Matthew Perry agreed with Kudrow, he replied, in classic Chandler fashion, with a sarcastic comment.
Oprah also asked the cast an important question we've been dying to know the answer to for decades.
And Aniston chimed in with this very satisfying response.
Matt LeBlanc also spoke about how quickly the cast bonded and became friends.
Schwimmer explained everyone's hesitations to bond until after the pilot was picked up because of the "reality of the business."
Oprah wanted to know if the actors liked the characters they played.
And if they were similar to their characters in any way.
Kudrow said she's nothing like Phoebe, but she obviously really likes her. "She's nice and very fun to play. Really nice person and I get in kind of a good mood if I'm her for a long, long time."
And Schwimmer immediately came to her defense.
A member of the audience also asked how their "newfound fame changed their personal lives." Again, Perry joked:
Kudrow said, "If you're in L.A., no one cares because there are bigger, better stars than us walking around."
Schwimmer quipped that he bought a whole state with his new money.
If only Aniston had a crystal ball.
At the time, they had no idea that the first season of Friends would not only turn into nine more, but also become one of the most iconic TV shows of all time.
But, come on. You can't make up this kind of chemistry.
