FYI: Judy Blume Is The Real Queen Of The Internet

Are You There, Twitter? It's Me, Judy.

We all know and love Judy Blume for writing some of our favorite children's books, like Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret and Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing.

But did you know that Blume is also the Queen of the internet?

In Santa Fe garden. Supposed to be doing revisions on novel but Wally Lamb inspires. @nypl #IReadEverywhere

Her Twitter bio says it all.

    And Facebook, too.

She keeps her fans in the loop about her fashion choices.

These @bedheadpajamas went to a slumber party on Chelsea Lately. The whole gang was there. In sleeping bags. And ???

And is honest about how difficult the writing process can be, sometimes.

After an intense morning of work, the writer at lunch.

She's even using the internet to give people an inside look into the process behind how her new book's getting made.

Revisions. The book and nothing but the book.

The design of her website looks like it hasn't changed since the '90s.

And it's absolutely perfect, in the least ironic way.

Blume uses Twitter to interact with her fans.

@schechtersclass - so glad you're having fun with Fudge!

And her other famous writer friends.

@johngreen - lucky you're not elderly-er. Playing hockey or just playing? Feel better!

She has the best comebacks for all her haters.

“@JDFrost4: @judyblume You used to be funny.”//Thanks for reminding me.

Her philosophies and random thoughts are also pretty damn insightful.

Mice like to run on exercise wheels outdoors. Me too

For someone born in 1938, the author has a great handle on this whole internet thing.

    Oh, what fun! It's #RookieYearbookThree

    Stay awesome, Judy Blume.
