    Exclusive: Here's The Official Trailer For "The Magicians" Series

    Syfy recently announced it's adapting Lev Grossman's book trilogy into a television series. Here's a first look at the show's trailer.

    Syfy officially announced last week that it is turning Lev Grossman's The Magicians trilogy into a television series.

    The 12-episode season, which will tell the stories of the students who attend the fictional Brakebills College for Magical Pedagogy, is set to air in 2016.

    In the trailer, we see Quentin Coldwater, The Magicians' main protagonist...

    ...who's being portrayed by actor Jason Ralph.

    We also catch glimpses of Julia (Stella Maeve).

    And get an idea of what Brakebills University is going to actually look like.

    Penny, who's being played by Arjun Gupta, makes a quick appearance.

    As do Eliot (Hale Appleman) and Margo (Summer Bishil).

    For the first time, we can see the moment Quentin realizes that magic isn't just a bunch of tricks.
