Her name is Lena. Maybe myself and others don’t 100% “get” her show, but I can say that I know her name, which was used more than five times in the article above, nevermind how many times her name appears in the credits of Girls.

1 (Smashing Punpkins), 2 (Pixies), 12 (NIN) by Vika Yermolyeva! Love her! This is one of my favorite covers.

You seem to have forgotten RDJ. Shame.
We formed a dorky club with another friend, Chelsea, and dubbed it the Millenium Club (it was 1999, you remember how obsessed EVERYONE was with the year 2000?) That was fifth grade. I think we had been friends for a bit more than two years by the end of the school year. [something about a childhood friend that passed away :/]
Where’s the rubbable GIF? I demand a rubbable GIF!
So, are you keeping the stuffed guinea pig puppet. Cos I will seriously but it from you providing the price isn’t ridiculous. I promise. Pleeeeease. :’(
The difference between all other campaigns targeted at one gender rather than both is that most don’t “forbid” men or women to have it. Not like Dr Pepper 10 actually forbids women from drinking it, but whatever.
” you’re trying to think “more than” rather than ‘equal to’ ” I don’t understand why you’re saying that she won. If she meant only two words, she would have said “Mr. Coolidge, I’ve made a bet against a fellow who said it is impossible to get two words out of you.” She didn’t say that though. She said MORE THAN TWO WORDS, which translates to any number greater than two. Everyone is thinking “more than” rather than “equal to” because she said those exact words. ;p Coolidge only said two words and nothing more than that, so she lost the bet against the fellow. Had she said “impossible to get two words out of you” she would have won. Okay, have I explained this enough? I tried to put it in two different ways in case you’re still having a word processor error in that brain of yours. :p
Wikipedia points to a more purplish-looking hue as indigo. You can see an indigo shade comparison chart here. Again, it seems that more purple-hued shades exist as indigo, though some appear to have a more blue tone. Just for kicks, I got a screenshot of a portion of the burger, opened up Photoshop and used the eyedropper tool to select the color on the cheese. Then I went to the Simple Wikipedia page on blue and found the most similar color possible, and did the whole screenshot-Photoshop thing again. Here are the results. Rich electric blue (the foreground color, aka the top-left rectangle) seems to be pretty close to the color of the blue cheese (the background color, aka the bottom-right rectangle). I went through that whole process again for the indigo hues, and…. Well, look at the image above. :p TL;DR: I don’t believe you’re color-blind, though maybe you should see a doctor just to be sure. I think you’re incorrect. Probably trolling. Or maybe just unintelligent. Whatever the case, I had fun doing this. (My life is just that sad.) If you’re upset about being incorrect or whatever, take the Online Color Challenge to blow off some steam. BTW, I got a perfect score, so it’s not me, it’s you. >:D hahhahahaha!!!
I don’t think it’s ketchup… Looks like a hot sauce, my guess is Tabasco, which is a very common condiment for fried eggs. If you look at it, it seems pretty thin, and I’ve never seen ketchup come out that thinly unless I didn’t shake up a very crap quality ketchup. I do see that before the scene I linked to a thicker condiment plops onto the plate, but I always viewed that as being the result of a stylistic choice. Ketchup plops, and Tabasco splashes, so if they wanted the plop it had to be ketchup and omg I’m rambling now. TL:DR I AGREE WITH EVERYTHING YOU SAID. (but maybe it’s Tabasco instead of ketchup for part of the egg scene) /fellowDextergeek ;)
Thom Yorke. As you can see by the signature, this is by Katie Chabolla (WIP here, if you care to look). She also has a painting of Matthew Bellamy of Muse done-up in the same fashion.
The reason #17 looks like someone photoshopped Link’s head onto a little girl’s body is because someone did ‘shop his head onto a little girl’s body; it’s William-Adolphe Bouguereau’s La Tricoteuse. Also, I thought the whole internet understood that the watermark in the corner (worth1000.com) means that the image is photoshopped, so I wouldn’t count this as a painting.
Was James Blake’s album cover inspired by Placebo’s Meds? Or was there another album that did this before both artists? Probably just a coincidence. Also, the second-to-last album is MGMT’s Congratulations, if anyone is wondering. Probably not.
