You reek of unresolved baggage.
“cops are real people with real emotions”
If their emotions get in the way of the rule to shoot as a last resort, then they have no business being cops.
The fact that it’s gotten so many people’s ire up, which in turn have gotten hundreds of thumbs up (486 for the top one so far) would indicate they’ve been VERY successful.
So you’re advocating violence towards men? Good to know.
… The fact that you whipped out the M word so quick makes me wonder how often you itch your trigger finger.
This doesn’t have anything to do with being a woman. It’s buzzfeed collecting a bunch of particular stock photos as a poke at the motion of generalizing.
You could just as easily make a post about ‘Redheads get mad at computers’ or ‘Men get mad at computers’ or ‘People that wear blue get mad at computers.’ There’s really THAT many stock photos out there. I suggest you step away from forums and get outside for a bit. This lens just makes you angry.
Do you often throw the word ‘rapist’ around like sillystring at people that piss you off? I don’t know how you can make light of such a serious offense. Do you know that actual rape victims have to jump through hoops to be heard because of people making false accusations? How dare you belittle something so serious.
I notice all of these pictures are of Sims2. Sims2 was awesome. The absolutely massive amount of user created content and free sharing of the community kept me playing for ages. It also introduced me to modding skins, which was half the fun of playing. Then Sims3 came out, and you could only use content from EA. And you had to buy each and every item with microtransactions. Screw you, Sims. Seriously. Screw you.
Generalizing at all is just a bad move, and treating one person different than another because of their genitals is the sign of a weak mind that can’t form unique opinions.
But to say that misandry doesn’t exist because misogyny is a far greater problem (which it is) isn’t true. Are there people that would make assumptions about me or dislike me because I have a wang? Sure there are. So there’s misandry. It’s not an epidemic, but to make light of any kind of hate is pretty sad.
“may eventually lead some of them to take along, hard look in the mirror and change who they are”… No, it won’t. It’ll work just as well as ridiculing criminals and expecting there to be no more crime. Teaching guys to not take rejection personally, and to not put emotional investment into feelings that aren’t returned, would be the constructive and goal-setting method. But, as stated, too many people here are gleefully jerking said circle and sharing how much they OMG LOOOOVE THISS!!!
Therein is your reason to stop giving a damn about people who would call Olivia’s montage objectifying, now that the hypocracy is out and about.
