According to some resource persons interviewed in American celebrity news shows (I forgot whether it was ET, Extra, or The Insider), the DJs broke British law.
* They are not supposed to record conversations without the other person’s consent.
* They did not say that they are going to put the recording out to the public.
With that said, I don’t know whether the DJs would be prosecuted, considering they live in another country.
