It's funny because 95% of the population of Earth is like that.

I personally find anything after “encouraged” not acceptable. I seriously reconsider my friendship with a person whenever I am treated like that, even more if I've never heard of something and they can't seem to believe it. I don't like being friends with assholes who can't comprehend the idea of someone having different experiences than their own.
