To all you manatee lovers out there who are scoffed at by dolphin and orca fans alike...I feel you.

14 Reasons Manatees Are Highly Underrated

1. "Hugs pls?"

2. They will snuggle anything, even if it's a random piece of wood.

3. They love to make new friends...

4. ...especially if you offer them a belly scratch.

5. They are highly ambitious...a ladder couldn't even stop this little guy.

6. Solid walls don't deter them either!

7. They're always down for a selfie.

8. Watch out Beluga whales...I can flash a smile too!

9. They are the Snorlax of the sea.

10. Did I mention that they love to snuggle?

11. They are also fierce rebels...breaking wildlife laws just to sweetly nuzzle their fellow humans.

12. They are very polite.

13. They flatter easily.

14. And if I haven't convinced you yet...just look at these baby manatees with the most kissable little muzzles you've ever seen.
