9 Signs I Didn't Think This Whole "Half-Marathon" Thing Through

    What was I thinking?!

I signed up for my first half-marathon in November...

...and this is me right now:

    1. I thought it would be an easy jaunt through Disneyland...

    2. ...and then at the end I'd get one of these:

    3. I totally glossed over the fact that it's 13.1 MILES OF RUNNING.

    4. One important thing to realize: I HATE RUNNING.

    5. My training regimen basically consists of this...

    6. ...and eating lots of pasta.

    7. Rather than figuring out how I'm gonna run 13 FRIGGIN' MILES, I'm worrying about this:

    8. At least I've figured out what I'm gonna wear:

    9. Honestly, this will probably be me at the end of the half-marathon:

One thing I DID think through, however, is which charity I'm gonna run for: Back On My Feet.

My goal is to raise $1800 (enough to host a member in BoMF's program)... but I can't do it alone.

    10. If we team up, and with your donation, maybe we can do something awesome.

I might be planning this marathon horribly, but I also have a chance to help someone's life... so it's worth it.

All that's left to say is... Avengers Assemble!
