Probably one of the best rpgs ever made.
3. Metal Slug
They just don’t make side-scrolling shooters like they used to.
4. Super Smash Bros.
This was why every N64 owner needed a minimum of 4 controllers.
5. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (arcade)
Many a quarter was spent on this machine.
7. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Never before, or since, have chickens been so feared in a game.
8. Super Mario RPG
This game was so perfect, they haven’t made another Mario-based rpg since.
9. Sonic the Hedgehog
Probably the first time many people felt the need for speed.
12. X-Men (arcade)
The only time Colossus has ever been the best mutant on the X-Men.
14. Super Street Fighter II
Don’t lie, you know you tried to throw a fireball with your hands after playing this.

chriss78 4 months agoYou missed some other games time forgot: 1. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2: Whatever happened to this one? It’s like it just fell off the surface of the Earth! 2. Tetris: I think this game is about an angry stone-mason dropping bricks on you… I don’t quite remember. 3. World of Warcraft: Believe it or not, but this game once entertained millions of people all at once! 4. Pac-Man: A game about eating pellets and avoiding ghosts?! How 80s! 5. Tomb Raider: Apparently they haven’t got the message that this game is forgotten because a new one is coming out in a couple months! Those silly game-makers!

☁Spam Of God☁ 5 months agoThese are NOT forgotten. I will say this though, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door is one the greatest and most unsung video games of all time, it is sort of a spin off of Mario RPG but it’s, to me, the perfect video game.

D374-TP 5 months agoI don’t think time forgot most of these. A good deal of these were even re-released on modern systems (Chronotrigger for the DS, Sonic on the Sega collections for the 360, Street Fighter II on 360’s arcade….Also, if you’ve ever set foot in a convention, FFVII is alive and well. Nobody has forgotten that game. What did I expect from an article sponsored by ‘King of the Nerds’ though :P

VashTSChacon 5 months agoWhat the hell are you talking about? If ya bought the 64 for anything other than starfox, goldeneye or zelda, then i know your lying. Btw, they made another Mario RPG, called paper mario. And FFVII isnt near the greatest game ever, or even in the Final Fantasy series. This is very much fail marketing research for your target demographic, King of Nerds.
