And he was just as adorable as you would expect.
From describing his fear of heights while filming the latest Jaguar commercial in an open helicopter.
To revealing he once played the front leg of an elephant in a school play - while carrying fellow actor Eddie Redmayne.
And showing off his impressions of Anthony Hopkins, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Peter O'Toole.
But then it was on to the driving.
And he was the cutest when he stalled on his first attempt.
Before swearing around the lap.
Then adorably making up a song and singing to himself.
