Response to Plastic Surgery Is OK — As Long As You’re White:
What a far stretch this article attempts to make - omg, there are black people who had surgery and no one paid enough attention to them! It must be some kind of racist plot. Smh…
You’re not looking at the cow’s happy, content death face.
I eat pork, I eat bacon, but I don’t picture a beautiful animal with a smile on it’s face when I do. Until now. Nothing could drive me closer to veganism than seeing something like this.
Disgusting. When I first heard this story my first thought was, that guy did this on purpose.
Response to Google Reader Died Because No One Would Run It:
What was Google reader and what is RSS feed? I sound like a moron (I feel like one, too) for asking, but seriously, what’s all the fuss about?
Response to 41 Camping Hacks That Are Borderline Genius:
I found some of these ideas quite useful, except the panini press. Who cares about panini when you’re camping? Sheesh.. you’ve got a pan and a you can find a rock, presumably you have some foil. Voila! The medicine bottle first aid kit is something I’ve used many times - great for hiking! When you’ve got everything you can carry in a backpack, the last thing you want are cumbersome articles of anything. The smaller and lighter something is, the better. A used medicine bottle not only provides a dry container for matches, Band-Aids and other such things, it also repurposes the plastic medicine bottle. What’s wrong with repurposing? I’d rather do that than see yet another piece of plastic end up in a dump or the ocean. The pads for sleeping on are genius! I would never have thought of that - we’ve used the inflatable mattresses before, and pool floats, but they can get holes in them and then you’re left with a deflated mattress. The Mountain Dew thing, as stated, is false. The writer of this article did not research this stuff very well. The bread in a can is okay - but I’d rather buy bread and put it in a plastic container. You could probably bake bread in a round can, but why? If you’re going to be making panini sandwiches, then you’ve got a cooler, so keep your bread in a plastic container in the cooler.
