The First "Hunger Games" Red Carpet Vs. The Last

Once upon a time, back in the year 2012...

All the way back in 2012, the world was treated to the very first Hunger Games red carpet. It was a different time. Kylie and Kendall Jenner were there.

    Kylie looked different.

And Kendall (possibly) borrowed a dress from Kim for the occasion, which was (possibly) adorable.

This time around, in ye olde 2015, none of the Kardashian clan attended. But we did get a new set of rad sisters.

Also, Jena Malone made this Johanna Mason-esque face.

And pointed a camera at the cameras because why not, guys? Why not?

Liam Hemsworth hung out on the first red carpet with then-girlfriend Miley Cyrus.

Who was rocking a different look back then.

And both times he hung out with JLaw and it was really sweet.

Back in 2012, in her pre-Tris days, Shailene Woodley came to show her support for fellow YA heroine.

And put her hands in her floral pocketed dress.

And Kelly Osborune donned a big flower-tie.

    This time around, NATALIE DORMER.

    SLAYED. US. ALL.

And Sam Claflin showed off his perfect, immaculate hair swoop.

Jennifer Lawrence looked fabulous on her first and last nights as Katniss Everdeen, the Girl on Fire.

And this time we got to see her throw her coat off dramatically!

    And then...whisper something?

    WHAT IS SHE SAYING?!?!!

Josh Hutcherson ended his days as Peeta with a bit of scruff.

Look at how lil' he was all the way back in 2012!

And Liam Hemsworth ended his time as Gale on the same, scruffy note.

Elizabeth Banks' first and last nights as Effie Trinket were equally classy.

And Donald Sutherland began and ended his days as President Snow in a scarf...and maybe the same tie? Whatever, he's the President.

Woody Harrelson left behind his days as Haymitch, and didn't wear pajamas this time.

Willow Shields grew up right before our eyes, and made us fall in love with Primrose Everdeen.

    WILLOW/PRIM. 😭

Amandla Stenberg, who broke our hearts as Rue, was flawless then and FLAWLESS now.

WORK THAT SEPTUM PIERCING, RUE. 🔥

And Suzanne Collins, the author who gave us the story of a lifetime, looked radiant on her first and last evening seeing Katniss on the silver screen.

    Thanks for everything, guys. ❤️
