Your Hitler example doesn’t really fit this situation. At all. You’re arguing that there’s only one right and one wrong for every situation? Come on, you know that isn’t true. Of course we all have different morals and values. Everyone is different and knows themselves and their bodies better than anyone else and has to decide for themselves what they feel is right for them. Protecting your right to make your own choices about your sexual health has nothing to do with genocide.
How is using birth control or having sex “giving up your womanhood?” Okay, you identify yourself as a feminist. But saying that women who choose to have sex and use birth control are giving up their womanhood is definitely NOT respecting women’s rights to choose what to do with their bodies. Use birth control, or don’t. That’s the beauty of choice. But don’t act like what’s right for your body and your values is what’s right for everyone else.
Response to This Hilarious Mom Is Selling Her Daughter’s One Direction Tickets On eBay To Teach Her A Lesson:
Yes, thank you. I also think that this sort of punishment/complete lack of respect or dignity is only going to motivate her daughter to rebel more. True, we don’t know the whole story, but there’s no way that this would motivate the daughter to respect her mom more, in my opinion.
