Tim Meehan, a writer from New York, created the tumblr Make Me a Sandwich Bitch, which pairs tweets from people who tweet out the offensive phrase along with another one of their tweets.
"Currently the internet is going through a huge 'anti-PC joke' debate," Meehan says. "This 'make me a sandwich bitch' tweet was making the rounds. I saw that it was coming from guys who use Twitter to blurt out inappropriate jokes with no wink or intelligent sarcasm behind it, and these guys also microblog the most lame mundane parts of their lives."
Meehan explains why he created the tumblr: "I just wanted to point out that these triggering words have no meaning or power coming from these ding dongs."
