Dariana a year agoFunny, and I am familiar with this guy’s other videos. /buzzkill
But I feel a bit disturbed by seeing these reinforcements of the ‘geek’ stereotype; we still live in a time where playing MMOs, MtG, or D&D will cause people to think you live in your mom’s basement, yet playing Angry Birds is awesome. Videos like this (particularly when seen by people who don’t know the actor) are what help perpetuate that view.

joeb11 a year agoYes, yes. This is clearly staged for the camera, but so what? Can’t we just enjoy this as a fun little bit of semi-improvised sketch comedy? I mean, you don’t go into movie theaters and shout “FAKE! FAKE!” at the screen during John Carter, right? (At least, I hope you don’t.) I know we’re living in the age of reality TV, but that stuff is fake, too. As John Lennon sang 40+ years ago, “Nothing is real. And nothing to get hung about.”
