Stephen King’s inspiration to write this novel came from the Balsams hotel in New Hamshire. And rumor has it, there’s going to be a sequel.
This novel almost didn’t make it to print. After it was written, his wife found it in the trash and encouraged him to complete it.

This film was from Stephen King’s collection Different Seasons in 1982.
9. Secret Window
Stephen King was accused of plagiarism after writing this novel as a woman claimed that he stole her story ideas. However, all the cases were dismissed.
10. The Mist
Stephen King praised the director of The Mist for revising the ending to be darker than the novel.
