    As already said by other people who didn’t know what was wrong with number 12: Some people either like to keep moving, or they have somewhere to be. So, if someone stands on the left side of the escalator and refuses to move, then those people aren’t able to walk past them. It’s just like with the road. If you’re going slow, use the right side/lane. If you’re passing, use the left, so don’t block the left for other people.
